About Helen Farber

Helen Farber is of counsel to The Farber Law Firm. She concentrates her practice in the areas of workers’ compensation, personal injury, wrongful death, auto accidents, premises liability, and negligence claims.

Mrs. Farber earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, with Honors, from the Honors College of Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. She graduated magna cum laude. Mrs. Farber subsequently attended the University of Miami School of Law and received her Juris Doctor cum laude. She has been licensed to practice law in the State of Florida since 2000.

Mrs. Farber is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Florida and all local Courts within the state of Florida. Mrs. Farber began her legal career representing defendants (employers and their respective insurance companies), in a multitude of workers’ compensation matters. Her experience representing defendants during the first three years of her legal career proved to be an invaluable resource for her clients when she joined a well-respected plaintiff’s law firm in 2003. Her practice areas included representation of injured workers in workers’ compensation claims, and expanded to representation of plaintiffs involved in personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, auto accidents, premises liability and negligence claims.

At The Farber Law Firm, Mrs. Farber continues to assist the firm in the representation of injured workers and personal injury plaintiffs. Due to her extensive workers’ compensation experience, Mrs. Farber handles all facets of workers’ compensation litigation from the filing of Petitions, to taking expert depositions, through the trial of cases before the Judge of Compensation Claims. When not working, Mrs. Farber enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading. She is Greek-American and fluent in Greek.
